The Custer Conspiracy

Student Sally Wolf asks Professor Walter Reeves to evaluate an old diary. He realizes it was written by someone who traveled with General George Armstrong. His promotion will be assured if it is authentic and published because it reveals previously unknown information about Custer. Then Sally is kidnapped, and her captors, Native American activists who don’t want the diary published, demand that he return it to them in Montana. Meanwhile, a militia group attempts to find the diary; they, too want to prevent its publication because, to them, it defames their hero.

Walter heads off to Montana, followed by inept militia members. At the Little Big Horn battlefield, a Native American gives him direction and warns him about the militiamen. Cassius, the militia director, clashes with them all, and the quest for the diary escalates.
